Phespirit goes to Cyprus

ACROSS AKAMAS

Akamas Peninsula is the rugged northwest tip of Cyprus. This is the view from close to its highest point, facing west towards Cape Lara where the turtles hatch.

Only mountain bikes and 4WD vehicles are suitable in such terrain. Phespirit arrived by means of the latter.

This is the view from the Shakolas Tower in south (Greek) Nicosia, over the Buffer Zone to north (Turkish) Nicosia.

Observe the flag of the Turkish Republic of North Cyprus - hewn in the mountainside to childishly antangonise the neighbours.
